Does Hogwarts Legacy support surround sound audio?

Yes. Hogwarts Legacy supports surround channels up to 7.1 on the PlayStation®5 and up to 7.1.4 (Dolby Atmos) on the Xbox Series X|S and PC.

I'm having trouble hearing the voice acting and/or dialogue. Is there anything I can do?

Yes. Check the audio settings in your console system menu and match the output settings to your audio hardware and the number of speakers.

Some TVs support surround sound. Check the settings on your TV and disable or enable surround sound.

On the PlayStation®5 and certain hardware combinations, choosing "Dolby" or "DTS" output instead of "Linear PCM" may sound better.

What are the highest-quality audio settings in Hogwarts Legacy?

Hogwarts Legacy has a rich set of audio output configurations that sound great on a variety of audio hardware.

The in-game presets are tuned for the type of audio hardware named but can be used on any audio hardware. Results may vary based on the capability of the audio hardware.
