Players can discover and install mods through the play mods option in the main menu of Hogwarts Legacy. Players can link their Steam or Epic Games Store account with their Warner Bros. Games Account by clicking here. A Steam or Epic Games Store account linked to a Warner Bros. Games Account will be required to access official Hogwarts Legacy mods.
Step 1 - Install a Mod
You can install a mod from the Discover, Browse, or Mod Details Pages.
Installing via Discover or Browse
Find a mod to install, and hover over it with your cursor. Press the corresponding ‘Install’ button action found on the bottom right of the screen.

Installing via Mod Details
On the Discover or Browse pages, find a mod to install, and hover over it with your cursor.
Select the mod to view its Mod Details page.
Select the ‘Install’ button or press the corresponding ‘Install’ button action.
Step 2 - Confirm Installation
Once your mod has finished installing, a notification will appear in the top right corner of the screen.
Step 3 - Create a Mod Save
Navigate to the ‘Enable Mods’ tab.
Mods can only be applied to Mod Saves. If you already have a Mod Save, you can skip this step.
Creating a Mod Save from an Unmodded Save
Select an existing character and press the ‘Copy Save’ input action.

A prompt will appear after pressing the ‘Copy Save’ input action. The ‘Confirm’ input action will create a Mod Save copy equivalent to your Unmodded save.
Alternatively, you can back out by pressing the ‘Cancel’ input action.

Creating a Mod Save from Scratch
Alternatively, you can create a brand-new character to use Mods with. To do so, press the ‘New Character' button.
Step 4 - Enable a Mod
Select the Mod Save you’d like to apply your mod to.
Hover over the mod you recently installed. Press the ‘Enable’ input action.

Mod Load Order
When enabling mods, take note of their load order. The load order is displayed as a number on the right side of the enabled mod.
Step 5 - Apply Changes
Press the ‘Apply Changes’ input action.

Step 6 - Confirm
A confirmation prompt will appear. The ‘Apply Changes’ input action will save your changes. ‘Apply & Continue’ will save your changes and launch you into your Mod Save.
Alternatively, you can back out by Pressing the ‘Cancel’ input action.
